チャリティランナーとして走って、「がんで苦しむ人や悲しむ人をなくしたい」という目標に向けて活動している日本対がん協会を応援しませんか。
2 .寄付のみで応援する
「ランナーとしての参加は難しい」という方でも、寄付のみでお申込みいただくことも可能です。

申込み受付終了後、ご寄付の入金方法のご案内をメールにてお送りいたします。メールに記載の案内に沿って期限内に寄付金をご入金ください。ご入金確認後、チャリティランナーへのご登録案内をお送りしますので、期限内にチャリティランナーへの正式エントリーをお願いいたします。

・個人の寄付については、寄付金控除対象となり所得控除または、税額控除の対象となります。
・法人の寄付については、税制優遇の対象になり、寄付金を損金算入することができます。
日本対がん協会とは
日本対がん協会は、1958年から60年以上にわたって、民間の立場でがん対策に取り組んでいます。1981年以降、がんは日本人の死亡原因のトップ。日本人は生涯に2人に1人ががんになり、年間死亡者の3割近くががんで亡くなっています。最も身近で深刻な国民病と言わざるをえません。
日本対がん協会は「がんで苦しむ人や悲しむ人を1人でも減らす」ため３つの重点活動を定め、活動を推進しています。
1.がん予防・がん検診の推進
がん予防のための禁煙を推進し、早期発見のための検診受診率及び精度の向上に取り組んでいます。
2022年4月から、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で落ち込んだがん検診受診者数の回復のため、がん検診無料クーポンをデジタル化し、プレゼントキャンペーンを展開。検診対象者の経済的な負担軽減と利便性の向上に努めています。
2.がん患者・家族の支援
無料がん相談、リレー・フォー・ライフ、がんサバイバー・クラブ、休眠預金活用の助成金事業などを通じて、がんと向き合う人が安心して暮らせるようにがんと共生できる社会づくりに取り組んでいます。
3.がんの正しい知識の普及啓発
働く世代のためのがんリテラシー向上プロジェクト、 ピンクリボンフェスティバル、がん教育、機関紙・各種啓発ツールの作成など、情報社会の中で正しい知識を広めるための情報発信や、研修・研究支援活動に取り組んでいます。
東京レガシーハーフマラソン2023チャリティを通じてみなさまからいただいた寄付は、がんに関する不安や心配がある方ならどなたでも利用できる無料電話相談「がん相談ホットライン」（年末年始を除く毎日）の運営を主とする、がん征圧活動に使用させていただきます。

Japan Cancer Society will participate in the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023 Charity.
Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023 Charity will be held on October 15, 2023, and Japan Cancer Society has been selected as a charity organization for the event.
About Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon Charity
This is an initiative to expand the circle of charity activities through the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon.
You can support this initiative by making donations. Those who donate more than the amount specified by the charity organization and wish to run as a Charity Runner, may be selected as a Charity Runner and asked to promote the charity activities while participating in the event.

Our Charity Runner Decision Criteria：
1. Donation amount of 50,000 yen or more
2. First 100 arrivals
Charity runners will be selected in the order in which donation applications are received.
After receiving your application, we will send you an email with instructions on how to make a donation. Please make a donation within the deadline according to the instructions. After confirming the donation payment, We will inform you about the entry method.

About Japan Cancer Society
Three missions of Japan Cancer Society are to:
Promote cancer prevention and cancer
screenings.
Support cancer
survivors and their families.
Disseminate correct knowledge and raise awareness of cancer.
Fighting against cancer for over 60 years
On August 1, 1958, the Japan Cancer Society was founded as a nationwide campaign to control cancer by raising public awareness and promoting research of cancer prevention and treatment. At the time of JCS’s founding, the number of deaths from cancer was 85,000, not even one-quarter of what it is today. But right now, we face cancer as our country’s arch-enemy, with statistics showing that one in two Japanese people will be diagnosed with cancer, while one in three will die from it. Since our foundation, JCS has promoted early detection and urged the public to undergo cancer screenings. Even today, together with our prefectural affiliates (the ‘JCS Group’) we sponsor the screenings of about 12 million people each year and this effort has led to detection in over 14,000 cases. In recent years, the scope of our activities has expanded significantly, and in addition to raising awareness of cancer and conducting screenings, JCS now also offers telephone-based or face-to-face consultation and information for the families of cancer patients, support to young medical practitioners, grants for fundamental cancer research, cancer education, anti-smoking campaigns, Relay For Life and the Pink Ribbon Festival.
